Valpolicella Superiore DOC - Zenato

Valpolicella Superiore DOC - ZenatoValpolicella Superiore DOC - ZenatoThe Valpolicella Classico Superiore from Zenato is a classic, outstanding and appealing red wine cuvée from the Italian DOC Valpolicella wine-growing region in Veneto. This red wine is made from the Corvina, Rondinella and Sangiovese grape varieties. In the glass, this wine shines a rich ruby red with cherry-red highlights. The bouquet reveals expressive aromas of maraschino cherries and wild berries - perfectly accompanied by floral notes of violets and a hint of almonds. On the palate, this Italian red wine classic has a velvety texture that is wonderfully coated by the fine fruit fullness. The very good structure gives this wine good ageing potential. Vinification of the Valpolicella Zenato Superio Classico The grapes are carefully harvested by hand in the vineyards and completely destemmed in the Zenato wine cellar. This is followed by traditional maceration for 10 days in stainless steel tanks. The alcoholic fermentation of this red wine is also carried out in stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is complete, this wine is gently pressed to remove the skins and then matured in oak barrels for around 12 months.
