Marqués de Vargas Selección Privada is an elegant and refined red wine, produced from the vineyards La Victoria , Manolo and La Garnacha located in the Rioja region. The Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo grapes that make up this wine come from soils characterized by gravel and fine limestone soils. The grapes are hand-picked in crates, immediately refrigerated and sorted the following day. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in tanks adapted to the type of soil of each plot. The aging takes place for 25 months in new French oak barrels, to obtain an optimal balance between fruit, tannins and spicy notes, enhancing the quality and personality of each grape variety used in the final blend. This wine is immediately expressive, with a long and broad finish, both elegant and delicate. The nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit, sweet spices and light balsamic notes, while the palate reveals a balanced body and great finesse. It pairs perfectly with roast meat dishes, braised meats and mature cheeses.
