Cirelli Anfora Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Anfora di Cirelli originates in the province of Teramo, in Abruzzo. It consists of pure Montepulciano, coming from vineyards cultivated according to an organic farming method. The vinification is started by means of indigenous yeasts and ends with an aging of about 12 months in terracotta amphorae, where the wine also carries out malolactic fermentation. Intense ruby red in color. The perfume focuses on notes of black fruit such as blackberries and blueberries, and on a background of Mediterranean scrub and aromatic herbs, finished with vaguely balsamic and spicy references. In the mouth it is intense and balanced in its tannic component and softness. It closes in a rich and fresh persistence. Perfect to combine with fresh pasta topped with a lamb ragù.
