Angostura's Hand Casked Premium Rum Limited Reserve 1824 is a blend of rums aged according to the Solera Method, in toasted American oak barrels, previously destined for the production of bourbon. This rum is light amber in colour. The nose opens with aromas of dried tropical fruit, candied nuts and tobacco. On the palate it has hints of leather, oak, coffee beans, chocolate and citrus peel, with a warm and dry finish of strawberry jam and caramel. Ideal after a meal for its digestive properties, this rum is perfect as a meditation distillate.
