The Fiano di Avellino Pietracalda by Feudi di San Gregorio was born in vineyards located on the hills of Sorbo Serpico, in the heart of the wonderful Irpinia landscape. It is produced with 100% Fiano grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. Subsequently the wine remains for 12 months in steel on its yeasts, to refine its organoleptic characteristics. It has a strong straw yellow color. The nose opens with elegant sensations of chamomile flowers, freshly picked fruit and candied citron. On the palate it is soft, fresh and characterized by excellent minerality. Ideal in combination with shellfish and fish-based dishes, this wine is perfect to serve with grilled seafood and white meats.
