Reyneke Organic Chenin Blanc W.O. Western Cape - Reyneke Wines

The Chenin Blanc grapes come from vineyards located no more than 40 km from the cool Atlantic Ocean. The vines are planted in sandy and weathered granite soils, which enhance the flavor profile of the grapes and the finished wine. The wine matures for three months on its lees in stainless steel tanks before bottling. The nose offers notes of pear, yellow peach, ripe lemon, and Golden Delicious apple. A hint of pineapple also emerges as the wine opens up. On the palate, there is plenty of ripe fruit with beautifully balanced acidity. Already very approachable.
