On the nose, aromas of dried sunflower seeds, orange blossom, licorice, and a hint of truffle unfold. The wine is powerful and tannic, yet the acidity and a fine, underlying minerality create a harmonious balance. Initially, one perceives a pronounced sweetness and ripe sour cherries. Then, the more intense notes come to the fore: bitter orange, dark chocolate, tobacco, clove, and incense. Despite the vintage, the wine impresses with remarkable finesse and freshness! The wine still needs some time, but already shows promising potential and excellent aging potential.
