Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc Premier Cru - Domaine Chanson

Chanson is one of the main owners of Clos des Mouches, with a 4.5-hectare vineyard. This sunny terroir benefits from an ideal hilltop location at the southern end of the Beaune vineyards, on a slope leading towards Pommard. A 2-hectare parcel on the upper part of the hill is planted with Chardonnay on a sandy limestone subsoil. The wine displays a light golden color. Floral aromas (acacia) mingle with notes of citrus and green almonds, with a hint of spice. It is well-balanced with good tension, a precise and deep texture, and a long, generous finish with a touch of minerality.
