This blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre comes from limestone-rich, stony soils characterized by the cool nights of the Larzac plateau. These climatic conditions ensure slow, balanced ripening of the grapes, lending the wine remarkable freshness and depth. The nose unfolds with an intense interplay of aromas of dark fruits such as blackberry, blackcurrant, and ripe cherry, accompanied by spicy notes such as pepper, licorice, and garrigue herbs. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet finely structured, with elegant tannins and a mineral note on the finish. Aging takes place partly in barriques, stainless steel, and concrete, which lends the wine additional complexity and aging potential.
