Vinification of Sacchetto Rosato Veneto The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully elegant Rosato Veneto cuvée from Sacchetto is Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes. After the harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by ageing on the fine lees for a few months before the wine is finally bottled. Suggested pairing for Sacchetto Rosato Veneto This rosé wine from Italy is best enjoyed chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to lemon-chilli chicken with bulgur, Thai cucumber salad or spaghetti with yoghurt-mint pesto.
