Torres has been producing this spirited tinto since 1954. And while Sangre de Toro has long since established itself as a separate brand with a diverse range of wines, the original has remained true to itself over the years: a deep red, vibrant cuvée of Garnacha tinta and Cariñena. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and only partially aged in oak barrels, the original Sangre de Toro retains its juicy fruit and freshness with delicate aromas of red berries and licorice, a spicy hint of black pepper, structure, and balance on the palate. Sangre de Toro - Original is available for consumption ready to drink, but can also be aged for several years.
