FAHRLAY is a south-facing terraced vineyard at the Pünderich ferry landing, dominated by blue slate. The hard stone makes it difficult for the vines, whose roots only penetrate the deep, water-rich crevices after 15-20 years. There, they find sufficient water and nutrients even in dry conditions, resulting in elegant, mineral wines with ageing potential. The nose is characterized by white flowers and citrus fruits. Elegant with salty, fine tannins and harmonious fruit notes of white peach and eucalyptus. Available from May 2025.
