Alpha Chardonnay - Montes

Launched in 1987 as Cabernet Sauvignon and the first Chilean premium wine, Montes Alpha now represents an entire range of premium wines. Montes Alpha Chardonnay comes from the coastal region of Aconcagua. The diverse soils and cool Pacific breezes give the grapes here particularly intense, finely nuanced aromas while preserving their lively acidity. Montes skillfully captures this richness and freshness in the bottle. The grapes are hand-picked early in the morning, directly pressed or cold-pressed, the musts fermented in barrels or tanks, and around a third of the wine is aged in French oak. The result is simply stunning! Juicy, complex, and vibrant, with a perfect balance of rich exotic fruit and elegant oak notes. Super long – with potential.
