Kiedricher Klosterberg Riesling Qualitätswein trocken - Robert Weil

This Riesling is the ideal embodiment of a Rheingau Riesling and is unique in its fresh style with a gripping minerality. It bears the signature of Wilhelm Weil, who has been managing the winery in Kiedrich for three decades, and is now the fourth generation. One of the excellent sites that Wilhelm and his team cultivate is the southwest-facing Klosterberg in Kiedrich, a site characterized by gneiss and slate. This wine is clearly characterized by its location and is unmistakable. It is full of tension on the palate and fills the glass with almost peppery spice and juicy fruit, in which citrus, quince and apricots have lively notes. Very clear, almost salty finish.
