Baronello Rosso Toscano IGT - Cantine Pellegrino
Baronello Rosso Toscano IGT - Cantine PellegrinoIn the glass, Baronello Rosso Toscano from Cantine Pellegrino presents a bright ruby-red color. The bouquet of this red wine from Tuscany enchants with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, plum, and mulberry. Following the aromatics further, notes of dark chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla emerge. This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with 13 grams of residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the premium entry-level segment, this Italian charmer, despite all its dryness, offers the finest balance. Aroma simply does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. Baronello Rosso Toscano can be described as exceptionally fruit-driven and velvety, as it was vinified with a wonderfully smooth, slightly sweet flavor profile. This silky red wine presents itself on the palate as balanced and multi-layered. Thanks to its well-balanced acidity, Baronello Rosso Toscano Toscana caresses the palate with a pleasing mouthfeel without sacrificing freshness. On the finish, this young wine from the Tuscan wine-growing region finally impresses with lovely length. Hints of blueberry and plum appear once again.
