Masseri Primitivo Limited Edition - Tenuta UlisseMasseri Primitivo Limited Edition - Tenuta UlisseThe Masseri Primitivo Terre Di Chieti Ltd. Edition from Ulisse in Abruzzo reveals a dense, ruby-red color in the wine glass. In the glass, this red wine from Ulisse presents aromas of plums, complemented by red currant and minerals. The Ulisse Masseri Primitivo Terre Di Chieti Ltd. Edition presents itself to the wine lover as wonderfully dry. This red wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine. Thanks to the balanced acidity, the Masseri Primitivo Terre Di Chieti Ltd. Edition caresses the palate with a soft mouthfeel, without lacking juicy liveliness at the same time. The finish of this highly age-worthy red wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils. Vinification of the Masseri Primitivo Terre Di Chieti Ltd. Edition from Ulisse The basis for the powerful Masseri Primitivo Terre Di Chieti Ltd. Edition from Abruzzo is grapes of the Primitivo variety. In Abruzzo, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone and clay soils. After the grape harvest, the wine grapes are brought to the winery immediately. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
