Vinification of the Cuvée Classic from Weingut Krug The well-balanced Cuvée Classic from Austria is a cuvée made from the Merlot and Zweigelt grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Cuvée Classic can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
