On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an exceptionally light texture. On the finish, this youthful white wine from the Douro & Porto wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, hints of lemon and banana appear. Vinification of the Contraste White from Conceito The balanced Contraste White from Portugal is a cuvée, vinified from the grape varieties Arinto, Gouveio and Rabigato. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off. Food recommendation for the Contraste White from Conceito This white wine from Portugal is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It goes perfectly as an accompanying wine with spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto, vegetable salad with beetroot or asparagus salad with quinoa.
