Osteria Montepulciano DOC Demeter - Riegel

This Montepulciano comes from Abruzzo, the home region of the grape variety. From here it has gradually conquered many other wine-growing regions in Italy. The full-bodied wine is a little more pleasant than the wiry Sangiovese and impresses with aromas of cherries and plums as well as velvety tannins. Montepulciano is well on its way to becoming Italy's most popular grape variety.
