Down-to-earth Syrah with initially typical, slightly animal notes, followed by ripe sour cherries, summery herbs and flowers on the nose. Flavors of spicy plum jam and white pepper join on the tongue. Firm, with a fleshy structure and restrained tannins, this youthful wine makes a welcome contribution to the well-earned end of the day, best accompanied by a piece of manchego or ham.
