Sauvignon Blanc MP - Markus Pfaffmann

An intense nose with bright flowers, tart grapefruit, a light orangeade note, some kiwi, but also peach, dried tree bark, dried herbs, a touch of butter, and freshly mown grass in the background. Clear and delicately juicy, a firm body with power and backbone, invigorating and refreshing with a delicate finish, emerging minerality on the palate with a distinct, salty punch, very dry and slightly tart, complex, and at times even loud. The fruit, especially the tart grapefruit, clearly reappears in the finish, with the yellow fruit more evident in the salty aftertaste.
