Biodynamic Estate Chenin Blanc Polkadraai Hill W.O. Stellenbosch Reyneke - Reyneke Wines

This single-varietal Chenin Blanc comes from the winery's oldest vineyards in the Polkadraai Hills west of Stellenbosch, planted in 1974 and 1976. After careful hand-harvesting, the must ferments spontaneously in 2500-liter barrels and 500-liter amphorae. The nose reveals quince, pear, white nectarine, and a hint of ginger, with a subtle hint of citrus. On the palate, this wine is fresh and precise, with elegant balance and well-integrated acidity. A prime example of South Africa's most important grape variety, Chenin Blanc, masterfully vinified by one of the country's leading organic and biodynamic winemakers.
