93/100 PP The 2007 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras is exceptional, offering up a beautifully pure bouquet of red cherries, raspberries and peony, with scant sign of the tertiary nuances to come. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and glossy, with a succulent core of fruit that largely conceals its tannic frame, concluding with a long, chalky finish that's firmly stamped by the terroir of Les Cras.
