Nervi Conterno Gattinara DOCG 0,75 ℓ

Historic winery of Gattinara, Nervi has been cultivating vineyards in the magnificent territory of Upper Piedmont since the beginning of the 20th century. In this area, characterized by soils of ancient volcanic origin, rich in porphyry and iron minerals and by a cool and very breezy climate, Nebbiolo expresses itself with an austere and elegant profile, of great charm and finesse. The vineyards are located in splendid sunny exposures, at an altitude between 300 and 430 meters above sea level, protected by the presence of Monte Rosa. At the end of the red vinification process, the wine rests for at least three years in large oak barrels. It is a particularly elegant version of Nebbiolo, with a garnet color, which expresses aromas of morello cherry, raspberry, medicinal herbs and nuances of dried flowers. The sip is taut and savory, with wine tannins, elegant aromas and a finish of clear mineral freshness. To be combined with first courses with meat sauce, small game and roasts.
