Nero di Troia Velarino is inspired by the large curtain that since ancient Rome has separated the stage from the public and creates a sense of expectation that results in the full appreciation of the show, just as happens to those who choose and uncork these wines. The Nero di Troia grapes are de-stemmed and pressed, and then macerated at a controlled temperature and aged for 8-10 months in 25 and 50 hl wooden barrels. Intense ruby red in color, it has a nose rich in aromas of purple flowers, ripe red fruits and spicy notes, especially cloves. The sip is warm, elegant, with well perceptible tannins. Ideal to accompany first courses seasoned with meat sauces, roasted or grilled red meats.
