Villa Gemma Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva

Falstaff 94-96, Dunkles, fast undurchdringliches Granat. Sehr satte Nase, nach edler Holzwürze, Kalk, reifen Herzkirschen, Cassis und etwas Minze im Nachhall, muss sich noch ein bisschen einpendeln. Am Gaumen dicht und griffig mit aktuell noch stark wahrnehmbarer Holzwürze, dadurch zart trocknend, dennoch druckvoll und mächtig, mit noch etwas Ruhe exzellente Voraussicht. Suckling 94, Polished nose of ripe plums, vanilla, milk chocolate and some dried fruit peel, too. It’s full-bodied and creamy with velvety, smooth tannins. Lots of chocolate and plummy layers that are smooth and decadent without being overripe. Will be even better after another two or three years in bottle.
