Uggiano Chianti DOCG Riserva 0,75 ℓ

Chianti Riserva di Uggiano is an elegant Tuscan red wine obtained from a blend of mainly Sangiovese and a small part of Canaiolo. This wine reflects the winemaking tradition of the region, offering an authentic and refined experience. It is perfect to enjoy in convivial moments or during a formal dinner. The vinification involves fermentation with maceration for 10-15 days at controlled temperatures between 28 and 30°C. The wine is then aged for 12-14 months in barrique, followed by further maturation in large oak barrels for another 6-8 months. After a period in stainless steel tanks, it is bottled and further refined in the bottle for at least 12 months. It has an intense burgundy red color. On the nose it offers a complex bouquet with notes of black cherry, berries and violet, enriched by elegant hints of vanilla. On the palate it is full-bodied and round, with a pleasant tannic persistence in the finish. This red wine pairs perfectly with traditional Tuscan dishes such as pici al ragù, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, grilled meat or stewed game.
