Hors-série Muscadet AOC Michel Brégeon

Muscadet is one of the great French white wine classics. Hardly any other wine from France goes better with seafood. But it is also a popular terrace wine on its own thanks to its moderate alcohol content and its typical effervescence. Fred Lailler's wines still have distinct mineral and smoky notes. Muscadet is made from 100 percent Melon de Bourgogne, a variety of the Pinot family originally from Burgundy. In the Loire it has been known since time immemorial under the synonym Muscadet and thus gave the wine, the appellation and ultimately an entire wine style its name.
