1924 Old Vine Zinfandel Whisky Barrel Aged - Delicato Family Wines

Zinfandel - known in Europe as Primitivo - stands for full, fruity red wines from California like no other grape variety. This belongs to the 1924 line, which is a tribute to the first vineyard planted by the Delicato Family this year. It comes from old vines and was matured in former whiskey barrels. And so it brings with it a lot of power and spice, aromas of blueberries and herbs and, above all, an impressively fine maturity.
