Chardonnay Select Wieninger

The grapes for this exceptional Chardonnay come exclusively from the Bisamberg in Vienna. 75% of the fermentation and aging takes place in barriques, with around 30% new wood. After 15 months of storage in the barrels, the wine is bottled. The finest nose with an attractive stone fruit note, underlined with some papaya and orange zest. On the palate, full-bodied, delicate caramel, fine acid structure, round and harmonious, elegant and already surprisingly accessible. Despite the high physiological maturity of the harvest, the Select has great freshness and tension while at the same time being deep. Always one of Fritz Wieninger's flagship products!
