Barbaresco Froi DOCG - Massimo Rivetti
Barbaresco Froi DOCG - Massimo RivettiThe powerful Barbaresco Froi from the hand of Massimo Rivetti flows into the glass with dense ruby red. When the glass is slightly tilted, a transition of color towards garnet red can be seen at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. If you give it some air by swirling it in the glass, this red wine reveals great density and richness, which shows in pronounced church windows on the glass wall. This varietal Italian wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of lilac, black currants, lilies and rose perfume in the glass. These are joined by hints of black tea, vanilla and cinnamon. This dry red wine from Massimo Rivetti is for people who would prefer 0.0 grams of residual sugar in their wine. Barbaresco Froi comes very close to this, having been vinified with just 0.5 grams of residual sugar. Powerful and multi-layered, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. Thanks to its well-balanced acidity, Barbaresco Froi caresses the palate with a pleasing feel, while at the same time not lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish of this highly age-worthy red wine from the Piedmont wine region, more precisely from Barbaresco DOCG, finally delights with a remarkable length. Vinification of Massimo Rivetti Barbaresco Froi This red wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Nebbiolo. For this wonderfully powerful varietal wine from Massimo Rivetti, only immaculate grape material was harvested. In Piedmont, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sedimentary and weathered rock. It is obvious that Barbaresco Froi is shaped by more than just the soil of Barbaresco DOCG. This Italian can quite literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an exceptionally impressive manner. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand at optimal ripeness. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house without delay. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation in large oak at controlled temperatures follows. After it has finished, Barbaresco Froi is aged for another 20 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Food recommendation for Massimo Rivetti Barbaresco Froi Enjoy this red wine from Italy ideally tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine to leek soup, potato pan with salmon, or boeuf bourguignon.| Precio |
