Vegliamonte Alba DOC - Parusso Armando

In the municipality of Santa Rosalia near Alba, Marco Parusso has acquired 8 hectares of vineyards. Here he now produces the classic Alba DOC, which, according to regulations, must consist of Nebbiolo and Barbera. The grapes are harvested by hand, then vinified separately, and the young wine is aged for 18 months in new barriques. After blending the two components of the cuvée, the Vegliamonte is bottled – only 4,000 bottles per year. Color: sparkling ruby. Aroma: reminiscent of roses and violets. Taste: full-bodied, fresh acidity, abundant fruit and structure.
