Jungenberg Chardonnay - Markus Altenburger
Jungenberg Chardonnay - Markus AltenburgerIn the glass, the organically produced Jungenberg Chardonnay from the pen of Markus Altenburger presents a bright golden yellow color. After the first swirl, one can perceive a first-class balance in this white wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World shows wonderfully expressive aromas of peach, rounded off by other fruity nuances contributed by aging in wooden barrels. The Markus Altenburger Jungenberg Chardonnay impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Austrian naturally enchants with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully light. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Burgenland, more precisely from Lake Neusiedl, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by clay and slate. Vinification of the Jungenberg Chardonnay by Markus Altenburger The balanced Jungenberg Chardonnay from Austria is a single-varietal wine, organically pressed from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgenland. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and slate. Jungenberg Chardonnay is an Old World wine through and through, as this Austrian breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The maturation of the grapes for this Chardonnay wine is influenced to a very high degree by the climate of the growing region. In Burgenland, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Jungenberg Chardonnay are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and hardly selective grape harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in concrete and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the elegant Jungenberg Chardonnay is aged for another 14 months in French oak barrels. Food recommendation for the Jungenberg Chardonnay from Markus Altenburger Experience this organic white wine from Austria best moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C as an accompanying wine to roasted trout with ginger pear, asparagus salad with quinoa or omelet with salmon and fennel.| Precio |
