Chardonnay Gaun Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Lageder - Weingut Alois Lageder

The GAUN site is located on the Margreider scree. The name is reminiscent of Baron Gaun, the previous owner of the Löwengang estate. Spontaneously fermented, nine months on the fine yeast, partly matured in wood, partly in stainless steel. Golden yellow and greenish shimmer, mineral with flint on the nose. Fine, creamy mouth with notes of apricot, exotic, dense, melting structure. Elegant saltiness and yet full of power.
