Cuvée Lara - Karl Pfaffmann

Markus Pfaffmann dedicated this classic cuvée of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to his eldest daughter. The old Cabernet and Merlot vines in the Southern Palatinate, where the sun ensures ripening until late autumn, produce wonderful results. After fermentation, the red wine is allowed to mature in barriques for 24 months and rewards with a complex flavor combination of dark chocolate notes, herbs, mocha, black berries such as cassis and blackberry, and a light peppery note, captivating with its impressive density, power, and intensity.
