Grauburgunder Wunderwerk - Dreissigacker

Dreissigacker's remarkable Pinot Gris comes from the first-class, biodynamically cultivated vineyards of Bechtheim. These vineyards are characterized by calcareous and loess-rich soils. After careful hand-harvesting, the Pinot Gris spends 10 hours on the skins and undergoes spontaneous fermentation. The subsequent aging in tonneau-style wooden barrels lasts 9 months on the lees. The result is a powerful, complex, and consistently enjoyable Pinot Gris.
