Toast, brioche, melted butter, light tobacco, a hint of vanilla and smoky bacon nuances complement this. Vinification of the Unterebner Pinot Grigio from Tramin The vines grow at an altitude of up to 600 meters on calcareous gravel and loamy soil interspersed with porphyry. After manual harvesting and pressing, fermentation takes place in wooden barrels with a volume of 30-40 hectolitres and partly in tonneaux. Biological acid conversion then also takes place in the barrel. The wine matures in the barrel on the lees until August. After a further 2 months in the bottle, the Unterebner Pinot Grigio is released for sale.
