The Morellino di Scansano Belguardo Bronzone di Mazzei was born in the Belguardo estate, located in the Tuscan Maremma on the hills between Grosseto and Montiano, a few kilometers from the sea. It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, rigorously picked by hand at the beginning of September. The grapes are left to macerate and ferment at a controlled temperature of 27-29 ° C for 14-16 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 14 months in French oak barrels, partly new. The Bronzone has an aging potential of up to 8 years. Structured wine, the nose opens with aromas of berries enriched with hints of dried spices. In the mouth it is enveloping, soft and tasty. For its characteristics, it is a perfect wine to accompany pasta dishes with meat sauces and red meat dishes.
