Ropiteau Frères Chassagne-Montrachet AOC Rouge 0,75 ℓ
The Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge from Maison Ropiteau Frères comes from the Côte de Beaune, in the heart of the Côte-d'Or, from vineyards located in the municipalities of Chassagne-Montrachet and Remigny. The area extends between 220 and 325 meters of altitude and features a complex geology composed of Jurassic slopes, Argovian marls, and Bathonian limestones, with rocky soils ideal for the cultivation of Pinot Noir. The grapes are hand-picked and selected, then gently pressed in a pneumatic press. The vinification and maturation take place in barrels, of which 20% are new. The wine matures for 11 months on the fine lees with occasional bâtonnage to enrich the structure and refine the elegance of the Pinot Noir. The wine appears a bright red with garnet reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of black fruits with a spicy touch. In the mouth, it is a fine and well-structured wine, with balance and personality.Perfect with grilled pork, spicy poultry in curry or tandoori style, lamb, and cheeses such as Morbier and Rocamadour.| Price |
