Abadia Retuerta Pago Negralada is a high quality red wine produced in the Duero Valley, composed of 100% Tempranillo grapes. The vineyard, located near the Douro river, is characterized by gravelly and alluvial soils, a unique terroir that allows this variety to express its purity to the maximum. The winemaking follows a traditional process with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by a 16-month refinement in French oak barriques. Pago Negralada stands out for its intense ruby color and a fragrant and complex nose, with hints of red and black fruits such as raspberries, redcurrants and blackberries, accompanied by spicy notes of cloves, bay leaves and black tea. On the palate it is refreshing and with a bold structure, soft tannins and a very pleasant flavor. It is notable for its long finish, representing a great Tempranillo in the classic style. This wine pairs perfectly with roast meat dishes.
