Leone de Castris Messapia Salento Verdeca IGT 0,75 ℓ

Verdeca Messapia was born in the vineyards of the famous Leone De Castris company, located on the eastern coasts of Apulia. This wine is produced entirely with Verdeca grapes, harvested in late August and carefully selected. Once cold macerated, must ferments in steel vats at a temperature of 14-16 °C. The wine initially ages on the lees for about 3 months, followed by a further month in the bottle, before being released on the market. It has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose opens with hints of wild flowers, well supported by notes of bergamot and pineapple. In the mouth, it shows an excellent flavour and a refined freshness, with fruity sensations on the finish. Excellent in combination with first courses based on seafood and fish, it also delights as a companion for fresh cheeses.
