Cascina Chicco Mompissano Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Nebbiolo d'Alba Mompissano from Cascina Chicco is a wine rich in character, coming from the cru of the same name located in the municipality of Canale. The fermentation of the wine takes place in steel at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for approximately 14 months in oak tonneaux. It has a lively ruby red color. Intense notes of liquorice, blueberry and blackcurrant emerge on the nose. On the palate the wine is soft and fresh, with well-integrated tannins that give balance and drinkability. This Nebbiolo d'Alba pairs beautifully with stewed meats, mature cheeses and first courses with meat sauce.
