The Langhe Nebbiolo is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian breathes an exceptional European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 8 months in oak barrels. Food recommendation for the Langhe Nebbiolo from Cordero di Montezemolo This Italian should ideally be enjoyed at a tempered 15 - 18°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompaniment to leek soup, fried calf’s liver with apples, onions and balsamic sauce, or chickpea curry.
