HOMMAGE À LUISE: This estate wine is reminiscent of the eventful history of the Dr. Bürklin wolf. In 1875 Luise Wolf married the Privy Councilor Dr. Albert Bürklin and gave the winery half of its name. How could a typical Gutsriesling have tasted back then? The design and style of this wine is based on this with a beautiful finish that is deliberately nostalgic. Fresh, stimulating notes of green apple play with aromas of ripe vineyard peach and slightly tart grapefruit. Elegant, well-integrated residual sweetness meets ripe, vibrant acidity. Very clear and elegant. Apparently, Bürklin-Wolf knew how to make excellent wine even in the early years.
