Grauburgunder trocken Jaspis - Ziereisen
Only our very best wines are named Jaspis – after a gemstone frequently found in our vineyards. The Jaspis Pinot Gris bridges the gap between enormous power and length, with finesse and freshness. Its interplay of fruit, herbal notes, and minerality is evident. The grapes come from vines planted between 1958 and 1962 on Jurassic limestone soils with a clay-loess-iron layer. Vinification occurs through spontaneous fermentation with extended lees aging in large wooden barrels. No finening or filtration is used. Nevertheless, this Pinot Gris has an aging potential of at least 15 years.| Price |
