The finish of this youthful white wine from the region of Lower Austria, more precisely from the Wachau, is ultimately delightful with a remarkable aftertaste. Vinification of the Gelber Muskateller Hartberg from Nothnagl The basis for the balanced Gelber Muskateller Hartberg from Lower Austria are grapes from the Gelber Muskateller grape variety. The grapes for Gelber Muskateller Hartberg are harvested exclusively by hand at optimum ripeness, without the use of coarse and barely selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
