Viña Ardanza 0,375l - La Rioja Alta

The house's top Reserva stands out from the sea of Rioja Reservas thanks to its high proportion of Garnacha grapes (20%). These come from vineyards at 600 meters above sea level in Tudelilla (Rioja Baja) and enrich the wine with juicy, inviting fruit. Both grape varieties were vinified separately: the Tempranillo aged for 36 months, the Garnacha for 30 months in used barriques. The aroma is expressive, with a magnificent interplay of spicy notes (cinnamon, black pepper, vanilla) with fruity notes (red and black berries, plums) and earthy nuances, complemented by subtle roasted notes, a hint of leather, and a balsamic accent. On the palate, it is excellently balanced with a finely woven tannin network, an elegant body, and a long, delightful finish.
