The aromas of plums, blackcurrant and blueberries come together. These notes are accompanied by a hint of peppermint. This red wine from Piedmont is full-bodied and juicy with an elegant finish. A wine with a good acid structure and fresh, elegant tannins. Vinification for the Langhe Nebbiolo DOC from La Spinetta This red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo underwent alcoholic fermentation in a red fermenter for 7-8 days, with malolactic fermentation taking place in oak. The Langhe Nebbiolo was matured in French oak barrels for 12 months, then transferred to stainless steel tanks for 2 months before maturing for a further 12 months in the bottle. This wine was not filtered or clarified before bottling.
