Vinification of the Quinta do Noval White Port Extra Dry The powerful White Port Extra Dry from Portugal is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Codega do Larinho, Gouveio, Malvasia Fina and Rabigato. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the White Port Extra Dry is aged for several months in oak barrels.
