The Soave Lepiga of the Tenuta Santa Maria winery comes from mature Garganega Veronese vineyards raised on the Colognola ai Colli estate, located at the beginning of the Val d'Illasi. The grapes are harvested manually in three stages with different ripeness and crushed separately and then macerated for a short cold period. The bunches are then passed into steel tanks, where fermentation takes place at a temperature of 16-18 ° C, after which the wine is assembled and aged for a long period in contact with the fine lees. It has an intense straw yellow color. On the nose there are fruity aromas of ripe pear and peach that intertwine with hints of aromatic herbs, almonds and vanilla. The gustatory examination confirms a great richness and a fresh and compact palate, with a good flavor that balances the softness. Suitable as an aperitif, it can accompany appetizers and main courses based on raw fish or white meats.
